Our team is often asked how much does render cost per m2 or how much does it cost to plaster a room. We believe it is important that our customers should provided with transparent quotations and consultation at all times. Therefore, we have put together a rough pricing guideline highlighting the average costs involved with our plastering, rendering and floor screeding services.

Please keep in mind that these are only average estimates and should not be treated as a final quote. Each job has its own set of requirements and specifications that alters the total quote figure. Plastering Prices

Provided below is a rough outline of our pricing for plastering. Please note these are general guidelines and should not be taken as definitive price. The price often vary and depends on multiple factors such as size of the room, type of plastering material used and the quality of existing surfaces.

We have categories sizes of the rooms into small, medium and large.

Examples of Small Sized Rooms: Downstairs toilet,  ensuite, lobby, single bedrooms,etc.

Examples of Medium sized Rooms: Family bedrooms, hallways and staircase, etc.

Examples of Large Sized Rooms: Kitchen, Lounge, dining room, etc.

Re-Plastering Room Prices

This involves double coat skimming over the original plaster in order to improve the finish.

Other Associated Costs to consider

Sometimes there are additional costs  to consider when having plastering, rendering or screeding works carried out. The prices above do not take into consideration the costs of the list below:
  • Scaffolding Costs - Scaffolding maybe required depending on the size and type of the project. The price of scaffolding hire can vary depending on the company chosen and the height of the area needing access (e.g., second floor and above needing render or plastering).
  • Removing Existing Render or Plaster Costs - The Price may vary depending on the depth and size of the wall requiring strip off.
  • Waste Disposal Costs (e.g. Skip Hire or Pick up) - Often when plastering, rendering or floor screeding waste is often produced. We can help with all waste disposal and recycling, where possible.
  • Protective Tape & Sheeting Costs - We often need to apply protective tape and sheets around window, guttering and surfaces that require protecting from water damage and stains. This cost is often associated with most rendering and plastering projects.
  • Parking arrangement and permits - We normally request the customer to arrange parking. You may need to contact the council for parking permit for parking restricted or time restricted area for lengthier projects.
